A citizen who gave 500 riyals ‘Idi’ to a camel was arrested

A similar incident happened in Saudi Arabia in which a citizen fed currency notes to his pet camel.

According to the details, the Public Security Department of Saudi Arabia has said that a citizen involved in the crime of deliberately destroying Saudi currency notes has been arrested by Al-Dawadami Police.

According to the report of Urdu Al-Arabiya, the action against the said person has been taken on the basis of a video that went viral on social media.

In this regard, Al-Dawami Police has said that a video has gone viral on social media in which a person is feeding his camel with 500 Riyal notes as Eid.

In the above video, it was shown that his pet camel ate the 500 Riyal currency note in his hand.

Al-Dawadami Police say that intentionally destroying the country’s national currency is a punishable offense committed by the said citizen.

It should be noted that according to Saudi law, a currency note is an official document, destroying, defacing or tearing it will result in imprisonment of three to five years and a fine of three thousand to 10 thousand riyals.
