Abbottabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has announced the Martyrs Package for the officers and personnel of civil and law enforcement agencies who were martyred while performing their duty by the federal government.
Talking about the residence of Customs Inspector Syed Hasnain Ali Tirmizi, the Prime Minister said that the sacrifice of Syed Hasnain Ali Tirmizi, who was martyred in the terrorist attack by smugglers in Dera Ismail Khan, will not go in vain.
The Prime Minister said that the government is determined to eradicate smuggling, and will ensure complete eradication of smuggling and smugglers. Will not refrain from any action to prevent trafficking.
The Prime Minister said that he has directed the Interior Minister to work with the governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan, Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies to crack down on smugglers. Ending smuggling is essential to strengthen the economy.
The Prime Minister said that the people will save billions of dollars by ending the smuggling. He also thanked Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir for his cooperation in anti-trafficking.
The Prime Minister said that the Martyrs’ Package that we made in Punjab will be implemented in the federal government as well. A free house will be provided for the widow and children of every martyr, and cash assistance will also be given. The families of soldiers who were martyred in these incidents will be given cash assistance of Rs. Apart from this, Rs 1 crore 35 lakh will be provided for the house price, it is their choice whether to buy the house or not, education and treatment facility for children will be free.
