Pakistan and the US have a long history of security cooperation, the Pentagon said

Washington: In response to a question, Pentagon spokesman Major General Patrick Ryder said that Pakistan is a sovereign country, airstrikes on outlawed TTP bases are an internal matter of Pakistan.

According to the World News Agency, while answering the questions of the journalists during the media briefing, the Pentagon spokesperson said that they are working together with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.

Spokesman Major General Patrick Ryder added that Pakistan and the US have a long history of security cooperation and both countries are still engaged.

A journalist asked about the airstrikes on the hideouts of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban, to which the Pentagon spokesperson said that you will have to refer to Pakistan for this question.
