Another three and a half hundred students returned home from Kyrgyzstan

Islamabad/Lahore: The return of Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan continues and another three and a half hundred students returned home through two flights.

In Bishkek, the situation is tense after local people targeted the students and communities of other countries, including Pakistan. Sharif took notice and issued orders for the safe evacuation of the students and their return to Pakistan.

After the Prime Minister’s orders, the first flight carrying 140 students arrived at Lahore Airport yesterday and three special flights were arranged on Sunday, of which flight number ka4575 landed at New Islamabad International Airport at 7.45 pm. 171 male and female students returned home through

Senator Mossadegh Malik welcomed the students, Civil Aviation Authority arranged a special desk at the airport and transport for the students.

When the students arrived at the airport, a large number of parents and relatives were there to pick them up. So they are sitting for hours with the lights of the rooms turned off, but no one in the embassy has picked up the numbers, barely the university administration has arranged the flight.

The students rejected the government’s claim of free repatriation and said that every student has paid 90 to 92 thousand rupees for traveling expenses and the government should also take some steps for them.

Meanwhile, another flight carrying 175 students from Bishkek landed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, where Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar welcomed the returning students.

The Federal Information Minister shook hands with the returning students and welcomed them back home.

On this occasion, the federal minister said that the government of Pakistan is in contact with the government of Kyrgyzstan, and our ambassador in Kyrgyzstan is also in constant contact with the students.

He said that on the instructions of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, special arrangements have been made for the return of students to the airports.

The federal minister said that transport and food have been arranged for the returning students, the concerns of the students will be removed and they will be brought home safely.
