The news of Nafeesa Kamal, the owner of Comilla Victorians, a well-known franchise of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), buying a team in Pakistan Super League (PSL) started gaining momentum.

The 11th edition of the PSL will feature two new teams, both of which are expected to come from cities like Faisalabad and Sialkot.

Reports claim that, not surprisingly, one of the teams will be known as either “Sialkot Victorians” or “Faisalabad Victorians”.

The only BPL franchise also plays Rangpur Riders’ sub-franchise, Atlanta Riders (US Masters T10 League).

On the other hand, 10 Indian Premier League franchises have fielded their teams in other leagues, including events like Caribbean, South Africa, UAE, Global T20 and Major League in America.
