Consultation with franchisees of PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in the process of consulting franchises regarding the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The meeting between PCB and PSL franchise owners also includes plans to add two new teams to PSL 2026.

Finalizing the window for the next edition of the PSL was discussed in a meeting between the Pakistan Cricket Board and PSL franchise owners in Lahore.

The tenth edition of the PSL next year will be the last six-team event, after which two new teams are planned to be added to the PSL in 2026.

The option of directly signing one player from each franchise was also discussed in the meeting. This signing will be in addition to the marquee player offer.

The venue of Peshawar and Quetta in the next edition of PSL was also discussed.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that there is a desire to bring Peshawar and Quetta back into the Pakistan cricket calendar by giving them domestic matches in the 2024-25 season.
