Karachi: The city experienced intense heat on Tuesday due to increasing humidity.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the heat wave is continuing due to the influence of sea breezes in the city. On Tuesday afternoon, the city was very hot due to the increase in the ratio of strong sunlight and humidity and there were also waves of rain.

The Meteorological Department said that the humidity in the air increased to 60% due to which the heat intensity was felt higher than the actual temperature, with the maximum temperature recorded at 38.8 degrees Celsius.

According to Chief Meteorologist Karachi Sardar Sarfaraz, there is no possibility of heat wave in Karachi, but the weather may be hot and humid, the temperature may exceed 39 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the mercury in various districts of rural Sindh will rise by 4 degrees Celsius, 6 degrees Celsius in some places and 8 degrees Celsius in some districts.
