Egypt expressed interest in purchasing Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder aircraft

Rawalpindi, Cairo (Monitoring Desk) The Ambassador of Egypt to Pakistan, Sherif Shaheen, has expressed his interest in the purchase of JF-17 Thunder aircraft. He expressed his interest during a meeting with Federal Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer Hussain.
In the meeting, Rana Tanveer said that Pakistan is still selling conventional weapons to the United States, Britain, Germany and the Middle East, while offering the sale of JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushaq to Egypt, he said that Iraq has already signed an agreement to purchase 20 Super Mushaq, while Turkey Also, the deal of 52 Super Mushak is in the final stages. Rana Tanveer also emphasized the need to further promote defense cooperation between the two countries.
Sharif Shaheen while appreciating the close and strong relations between Pakistan and Egypt, said that Egypt wants cooperation in the field of defense production, other countries of the Muslim world will also benefit from the assistance between the two countries.
The cadet exchange program in the field of military training was appreciated by both countries and the Minister of Defense Production invited the guest to visit the Defense Production Establishment which was accepted by the Egyptian Ambassador. Sherif Shaheen said that the Egyptian delegation will visit Pakistan’s Defense Production Establishment to discuss the purchase of defense equipment.
