Holding PSL during IPL and bringing good players will be best for the event, Atif Rana

Lahore Qalandars Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Atif Rana has said that by holding PSL during IPL, it will be best for PSL if good players are brought in with higher remuneration.

Atif Rana, the CEO of Lahore Qalandars in Lahore, speaking on the occasion of the match between the sports journalists of Lahore and Islamabad, said that PCB, fans and we wish PSL to be a successful league.

He said that all of us, including PCB, have the same goal to make PSL the number one league in the world. By holding PSL during IPL, if good players are brought in by paying more, it will be best for PSL.

He said that it is hoped that PCB will take a good decision regarding the window of PSL commercially. If there are good decisions regarding PSL, we will appreciate them.

CEO Lahore Qalandars said that if PCB feels that PSL will be successful with IPL and playoffs abroad then we will support it. Along with these decisions, commercial opportunities should also be looked at.

Atif Rana said that Haris Rauf of Player Development Program is very proud to represent Pakistan. The hopes and prayers of 25 crore people are associated with Haris Rauf.

He said that he is human, sometimes he performs well and sometimes he cannot. Haris Rauf gives his 100% and it’s great that people talk about him.

Atif Rana said that Lahore Qalandars conducted trials of more than 6 lakh children, apart from Haris, Shaheen and Zaman also made other players.

Continuing his speech, he said that Haris, Shaheen and Fakhar have their own hard work. Lahore Qalandars only gave them a platform.

Atif Rana said that sports journalists are the stakeholders of Pakistan cricket, they were always ignored. We will try to invite journalists from Karachi next time.

He said that we played a match in the name of sports journalists in the last PSL.
