Karachi: In the first Women’s One Day International, England defeated Pakistan by 37 runs.

Chasing the English team’s target of 244 runs, the green shirts managed to score 206 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted overs, Muniba Ali scored 34 runs, Sophie Selecton took 3 wickets.

Earlier, when invited to bat first in the derby, the host team scored 243 runs for 9 wickets, Alice Capsey was the top scorer with 44 runs, Nida Dar dismissed 3 players by giving 56 runs.
