On the special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, both the ministers have left for Kyrgyzstan.

He will meet the higher authorities in Bishkek and ensure the provision of medical facilities to the injured students.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will also review the issues of repatriation of Pakistani students.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif decided to send both of them to Kyrgyzstan yesterday.

Pakistani students in Bishkek are confined to their homes and hostels for fear of attacks by local miscreants.

In a video message sent to ‘Jeo News’, the students said that the doors have been locked for several hours and there is nothing to eat.

Pakistani students have appealed to the government for help in providing security and repatriation.

It should be remembered that 140 Pakistanis, including students, had returned to Lahore last night, where the Home Minister had met the returnees at the airport.

The interior minister asked the terror-stricken students about the situation in Bishkek.
