More than 13 crore rupees are being continuously paid as interest on the loan taken from Asian Bank, as soon as the former project director Mahesh Kumar retired, Bashir Ahmed Babbar was appointed as the project director in his place. 6,500 tons of coal is being imported into the project on a daily basis, while according to the agreement, 80 percent of coal was to be used from foreign countries and 20 percent coal from Thar in the power project, but no steps have been taken so far for coal from Thar.

According to the former project director Mahesh Kumar, there is no railway line from Chhoor city to Islamkot, from where will the coal of Thar reach here, 12 billion rupees worth of coal is being bought per month, it should be noted that there are irregularities in the purchase of coal. It is reported that the supply was given to the second ranked company, ignoring the lowest bidder.

Attempts were made to contact Chief Executive Officer Thar Mill Powerhouse Abdul Wakil, but he did not attend the call, while Mohammad Sajan Panhoor of WAPDA Pesham Union said that the project was damaged by the delay.

Project Director Bashir Ahmed Babbar also did not attend the call, while General Secretary of Pakistan Wapda Hydro Union Sami Fauji said that we have already been suspended after holding a press conference.
