President’s office contacted the Pakistani ambassador in Kyrgyzstan, instructed to take measures to protect the students

Islamabad: On the instructions of President Asif Ali Zardari, the House of President has contacted the Pakistani ambassador in Kyrgyzstan and expressed concern over the violent situation.

The Presidency has emphasized the need to take measures to protect Pakistani students in Bishkek and said that there is a need to provide a conducive environment for Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan to study.

The President has instructed the Pakistani ambassador to take steps to protect the students and continue their education.

On the other hand, the Pakistani ambassador in Kyrgyzstan has said that the security situation of Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan is improving.

He said that the Pakistanis are taking measures for the security of the students and are in touch with the Kyrgyz government.

The Pakistani ambassador said that the Kyrgyz government and universities will organize online classes for students returning to Pakistan.
