Islamabad: The Prime Minister has directed the Ambassador of Pakistan in Kyrgyzstan to make necessary arrangements regarding the special plane to bring back the Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif had a telephonic conversation with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Hasan Ali Zaigham in which he directed to keep in touch with all Pakistani students and their families while bringing injured Pakistani students to Pakistan on priority basis.

The Prime Minister directed that the return of such students with their family members residing in Kyrgyzstan should also be arranged on a priority basis.

The Pakistani Ambassador briefed the Prime Minister about his meeting with Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Ayvazbek Atakhanov. He said that the Kyrgyz government has said that the situation is completely under control, there was no new incident of violence last night and today, while security has also been increased, Pakistani and other foreign students are completely safe.

The Prime Minister directed that even after the situation returns to normal, if any Pakistani student wants to return home, he should be provided all kinds of facilities.

It is worth mentioning here that some Pakistani students will also reach Pakistan from Kyrgyzstan through two commercial flights today.

On the instructions of the Prime Minister, another special plane will leave for Bishkek Kyrgyzstan this evening and will arrive in Pakistan at night carrying 130 Pakistani students. All the expenses of the special aircraft will be borne by the Government of Pakistan.
