Resistance during central secretariat cell, anti-terrorism case registered against PTI leader

Islamabad: An anti-terrorism case was registered for resistance during the sealing of the central secretariat of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Islamabad.

PTI Islamabad leader Aamir Mughal was named in the case. The police had arrested Aamir Mughal from outside the central secretariat of PTI in the night itself.

According to the text of the case, during the CDA anti-encroachment operation, Amir Mughal reached there with an iron rod in his hand. Aamir Mughal was accompanied by other people. Aamir Mughal and his accomplices carried iron rods and attacked the police with a mob firing in the air.

The text further states that during the arrest of Amir Mughal, his accomplices managed to escape. The case has been registered under 7 ATA and other provisions of the District Magistrate at the Karachi Police Station.
