The Cabinet approved the setting up of a special court in Makran Division

The Federal Cabinet approved the establishment of an additional special court in Makran Division.

A federal cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in which approval was given to establish an additional special court in Makran division.

According to the announcement of the cabinet meeting, the jurisdiction of the special court will extend to the districts of Panjgur, Kech, Gwadar, Hub and Lasbela.

According to the announcement, the meeting has approved the extension of the validity of the proof of registration card of Afghan refugees till June 30, 2024.

The participants of the meeting were briefed by the Federal Secretary Privatization on the recent progress on the process of privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

The Cabinet was briefed by Secretary Aviation on measures to improve facilities at Lahore and Karachi Airports.

The Cabinet approved the appointment of 4 ex-officio members of ICMA while the meeting ratified the April 18 decisions of the Cabinet Committee on Legislative Affairs.
