A diamond ring lost on the beach was miraculously found

Texas: A missing diamond wedding ring on the beach in the US state of Texas was returned to the owner by a couple on the spot.

A diamond ring that went missing on Texas’ Galveston Island was returned to its owner after a couple dug out an old trap buried in the sand, according to US media.

The woman, Daisy Maldonado, said she was on a trip to Galveston Island with her family. A few hours later, he realized that the wedding ring was missing from his finger.

They immediately reported it to the Galveston Island Treasure Hunters Club on Facebook so that metal detectorists could help them.

The result of the Facebook post was that two men, Scott Pierce and Clyde Longworth, brought their metal detectors to the beach to search for the ring, but another couple on the beach had already found the ring.

Caleb Bregnac and his female companion had only been ashore for 15 minutes when they spotted a fishing net partially submerged in the water. When they took it out, a diamond ring fell out along with the oysters.

The couple had already spotted Facebook group members Pearce and Longworth with their metal detectors nearby. They brought the ring to the two of them, whereupon Pierce put them in touch with the woman, and thus the precious diamond ring was returned to the woman’s fingers.
