Flights to and from UAE cancelled, passengers stranded

Dubai: The flight operations of domestic and foreign airlines were badly affected due to the heavy rains in the UAE. Several flights were cancelled.

According to the details, the flight operation was affected due to several feet of rainwater standing on the runway of Dubai Airport, flights from Dubai to Lahore were severely affected and hundreds of passengers were left stranded.

According to sources, PIA flight PK203 from Lahore to Dubai was canceled while flight PK204 from Dubai to Lahore was also cancelled.

Apart from this, the flight PK185 from Lahore to Sharjah was canceled while the flight ER1723 of a private airline from Lahore to Dubai was delayed for more than ten hours.

According to sources, the private airline flight ER 1724 coming from Dubai to Lahore will reach Lahore in the morning with nine hours delay.

Private airline flight EK622 from Dubai to Lahore is delayed by 3 and a half hours and late night private airline flight EK623 from Lahore to Dubai is also delayed by 4 hours.

Apart from this, private airline flight PA416 from Lahore to Dubai is delayed, while private airline flight PA411 from Dubai to Lahore is delayed by 3 and a half hours.
