During the meeting in the National Assembly, the power breakdown, the House plunged into darkness

Islamabad: During the session in the National Assembly, there was a power breakdown due to which the House was dark.

During the meeting chaired by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, the member of the Sunni Ittehad Council and the Leader of the Opposition was speaking, the lights of the House were suddenly switched off.

Due to the power breakdown, the House was plunged into darkness and all the microphones were also switched off, while the Speaker National Assembly directed the Deputy Speaker to look into the matter immediately.

However, power was restored to the house after a while. Members of the National Assembly also raised slogans of ‘load shedding is unacceptable’ on the power breakdown
