4 suspects including the leader of the human trafficking gang arrested under the guise of employment abroad

FIA has arrested the accused and started investigation

Lahore: 4 suspects including the leader of the human trafficking gang were arrested under the guise of sending them for employment outside the country.

According to the spokesperson of FIA, Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore has arrested 4 suspects including the leader of the organized gang, including Wasim Abbas and James Masih. Accused Waseem Abbas is the leader of a notorious human trafficking ring, which with the connivance of other accomplices, was involved in smuggling citizens across the Iraqi-Iranian border.

The accused used to send innocent citizens to Iraq on the pretense of employment abroad. During this time, citizens were subjected to torture and money was demanded from the families of the victims while the accused James Masih was running an illegal consultancy located in Divine Garden. The arrested accused, James Masih, was receiving passports from innocent citizens without a license.

Apart from this, 2 more human traffickers were arrested from Township and Ferozepur Road areas of Lahore, including Junaid Iqbal and Muhammad Arshad. The arrested accused extorted lakhs of rupees from the citizens by pretending to get jobs abroad. Accused Junaid Iqbal stole 20 lakh rupees from the victim citizen in the name of sending him to Mexico, while accused Muhammad Arshad stole 5 lakh rupees by pretending to give the citizen a job in Dubai.

FIA has arrested the accused and started investigation.
