Big blow to Pakistan, key players out of series

Pakistan suffered a major setback in the ongoing home series against New Zealand.

Batsman wicketkeeper Azam Khan has been ruled out of the ongoing T20 series against New Zealand due to an injury.

Pakistan Cricket Board while confirming Azam Khan’s injury said that the batsman will be rested for 10 days. Azam Khan has been directed to report to the National Cricket Academy.

Azam Khan will undergo rehabilitation under the supervision of PCB medical panel. He suffered an injury during a training session and is now undergoing a rehabilitation process.

Azam Khan underwent medical tests and based on reports, he has been rested for the series against New Zealand.
