To make the rating, the YouTuber traveled to all US airlines

Washington: A YouTuber known online as AirRecFly took a flight on all US domestic airlines to simply rank them.

Eric Decker decided to take on the challenge and within a week had traveled on every domestic airline in the US. Decker made strict rules for himself, including staying inside airports before boarding a flight for the entire trip. He would have to buy the best seat on each airline and rate each flight based on price, comfort, service and a specific “X factor”.

Even bathroom and sleep quality were factored into airlines’ ratings.

Some airlines hit Eric pretty hard while others failed. Southwest Airlines offered Eric the coveted first-row seat, but long flight delays relegated him to C rank.

Spirit Airlines, known for its cheap fares, impressed Eric with its clean environment, friendly staff and managed to secure a B rank.

Eric also gave good marks to Frontier Airlines, in which Eric praised a flight attendant and awarded him an award. Other airlines fell short of Eric’s expectations. Horizon Air’s overheated cabin and flight cancellations earned it an F rank, while Silver Airways was also given an F rank for canceling its flight just in time.

Eric’s challenge to rank airlines has garnered a lot of attention online. While the final rankings aren’t out yet, the YouTuber’s experiences provide important insight into the various US airlines.
