Shehbaz Sharif wants joint investment from Emirates, not loan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that he wants joint investment from the United Arab Emirates, not a loan.

Addressing a round table session on partnership between IT companies in Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that beneficial measures have been taken for the IT sector in the last two and a half months.

The Prime Minister said that efforts are being made to speed up the process of digitalization in Pakistan as well. They want to stabilize the Pakistani economy together with the UAE.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in the United Arab Emirates on a one-day visit.

Emirati Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court welcomed Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are also accompanying Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

This is the first visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to UAE after assuming the Prime Ministership.
