New Delhi: Gurucharan Singh, who rose to fame for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular Indian drama ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma’, has returned home after missing for a few weeks.

According to Indian media, actor Gurucharan Singh, who has been missing since April 22, returned to his home on the night of May 17, after which the police detained him.

Gurucharan Singh told the police during investigation that he was on his religious journey, that’s why his mobile phone was switched off and he was not in touch with anyone.

The actor said that during his religious journey, he stayed in gurdwaras in various Indian cities including Ludhiana and Amritsar.

He said that during this trip, he felt like going back home because he had embarked on a religious journey without informing his family and friends.
