Comedian Shyam Rangela, who gained fame by mimicking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had his dreams of entering politics unfulfilled.

According to Indian media reports, the nomination papers of comedian Shyam Rangela, who recently joined Narendra Modi’s rival Congress party, have been rejected.

The comedian had submitted his nomination papers to contest this year’s Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi constituency.

It should be noted that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also participating in the elections from the same constituency of Varanasi. However, the nomination papers of the comedian have been rejected by the Election Commission.

According to the Indian media, comedian Shyam Rangela, while releasing a video message, said that 55 candidates had submitted nomination papers from the same constituency in Varanasi, in which the papers of 36 candidates have been rejected, including my name, while Narendra Modi and The nomination papers of 15 candidates including Ajay Roy have been approved.

It may be noted that Shyam Rangela had joined the Aam Aadmi Party from Rajasthan in 2022, but he was contesting as an independent in the recent elections.
