The price of gold in global and local markets decreased for the fourth consecutive day

Karachi: Global and local markets of gold have recorded a fall in price for the fourth consecutive day today.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by 17 dollars to the level of 2338 dollars per ounce.

On the other hand, the price of 24 karat gold per tola decreased by Rs. 1800 to Rs. 240200 and the price of gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 1543 to Rs. 205933.

Bullion market representatives say that in view of the impact of purchasing power in the local bullion markets and the significant reduction in gold trading activities, the local price of gold has been kept undercast by Rs 4000 instead of the increase in the global price.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola in the country remained unchanged at Rs 2,800 and the price of silver per 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs 2,400.54.
