The prime minister called the Pakistani ambassador in Bishkek, directed to provide full support to the students

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Hasan Ali Zaigham by telephone and directed to provide full support and assistance to Pakistani students.

According to the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister received information about the latest situation from the Pakistani ambassador in Bishkek and directed him to visit the hostels and meet the Pakistani students.

The Pakistani ambassador informed the Prime Minister that no Pakistani was killed in the incident. The Pakistani embassy is assisting the injured students.

The Prime Minister directed the Ambassador to be in constant contact with the parents of the students, provide timely information, provide all kinds of medical facilities to the injured students and make arrangements for the immediate return of the injured students who wish to return home.
