Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) There is a clear decrease in the prices of flour, flour and semolina across Punjab. Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yasin called for comparative price assessments from markets across Punjab. He says that the prices of wheat products continue to decrease significantly and strict monitoring is being done in this regard. The price of 10 kg flour decreased by 600 to 700 rupees, while the price of 20 kg flour decreased by an average of 1300 rupees. The price of 80 kg of fine flour/flour decreased to Rs.2770. Similarly, the price of a 50 kg bag of semolina has been reduced to an average of Rs 1700.

Food Minister Punjab said that a bag of fine flour is available at 8,230, down from 11,000. Sooji 50 kg bag is available at Rs 5450, down from Rs 7150. The reduction in the prices of daily necessities has brought real relief to the people. The fruits of the abundance of wheat are reaching the common man. Constant checking of the market is keeping a close watch on the prices and quality of the commodities. Supply of cheap bread is being ensured across the province. Food department and district administration are working together to ensure implementation of low prices.
