Check the label of hair and skin products to see if they are labeled oil-free and noncomedogenic.

Even if oil-free and non-comedogenic cosmetics are used during strenuous, sweaty workouts, they can clog pores.

4- Avoid excessive washing and harsh scrubbing. Nail pimples are not caused by dirt, so repeated washing with harsh substances such as alcohol-based products will not solve the problem. In fact, this process can make the situation worse due to excessive oil production and further scarring. Gently wash with soap once or twice a day from under the jaw to the hairline. You may be surprised to know that washing with only lukewarm water and using clean hands instead of a washcloth works just as well.
