Princes of Wales Kate Middleton initially did not want to name her eldest son Prince George ‘George’.

Royal observer Katie Nicholl has revealed that Kate Middleton wanted to name her eldest son ‘Alexander’.

They quoted close friends of Prince William as saying that the royal couple did not find out the gender of their child before the birth because Prince William wanted the gender of the child not to be revealed before the birth.

Kate Nicholl has revealed that although the royal couple did not know the gender of their baby before the birth, Kate Middleton felt like she was going to have a son and even chose the name ‘Alexander’ for him. but had not made a final decision about it.
