Tehran: After the death of Ibrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash, Iran’s spiritual leader Ayatollah Khamenei appointed Vice President Mohammad Mokhbar as interim president for two months.

According to the international news organization, like his predecessor Ibrahim Raisi, Vice President 68-year-old Mohammad Mokhbar is also considered a special confidant of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

Which can be estimated from the fact that in 2021, by amending the constitution, he was appointed as the Vice President of Iran, whose responsibilities were equal to those of the Prime Minister.
