A delegation of the Malaysian group met with the Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatimah

The delegation of the Malaysian group has met with the Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja.

Issues of mutual interest, digitization and telecom infrastructure were discussed in the meeting.

On this occasion, Shaza Fatima said that steps are being taken regarding digitization, the government is committed to providing quality broadband and internet services to the people.

Shaza Fatima said that IT and telecom sector has an important role in the economic development of the country, they will solve the problems of the telecom industry.

He said that the support of the Malaysian company is important for the development of the telecom industry, the Malaysian company should play a role in the Digital Pakistan Initiative.

He further said that the investment environment in Pakistan is favorable, Malaysian companies should invest more in Pakistan’s telecom sector.

The Malaysian delegation said that the role of the Ministry of IT for the promotion of IT and Telecom sector is commendable.
