An escaped female Royal Bengal tiger was rescued

Multan: The Wildlife Department has said that a female Royal Bengal tiger that ran away during migration has been rescued.

According to the details, the wildlife department said that the female Royal Bengal tiger broke its cage from the limits of the Alpa police station late at night. A female Bengal tiger was being transported illegally in the vehicle.

The team of Wildlife Department, Multan, rescued the female tiger from the Alpa police station limits while she was sedated with a tranquilizer gun.

Wildlife said that a staff member and the owner were injured during the operation and have been shifted to hospital. The Royal Bengal Tiger is temporarily housed in the DHA Zoo.

The age of a female tiger is 1.5 to 2 years and the value is 50 to 60 lakh rupees. Deputy Director Wildlife said that the owner of Royal Bengal Tiger has submitted the license.

The Deputy Director Wildlife added that as per the law, the owner of the female leopard will pay the departmental compensation. After payment of compensation, the female tiger will be returned to its owner.
