Applications related to regularization of thousands of employees of Sui Southern Gas rejected

The Sindh High Court rejected 48 petitions related to the regularization of thousands of employees of Sui Southern Gas.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Yusuf Ali Saeed heard the petitions.

Among those who filed the petition are 3350 non-permanent employees of SSGC.

The petitioner’s lawyer said that in 2018, the court had ordered regularization of more than 500 employees, based on the decision, these petitions were filed.

On the other hand, the People’s Labor Union says that they will challenge the decision in the Supreme Court.
