Karachi: Income started from lease of bulk terminal and ten berths of Karachi Port.
According to port industry sources, the first major revenue was received, AD Ports Group’s subsidiary Karachi Gateway Terminal handed over a check, KGTL handed over a check of $50 million to Karachi Port in the presence of the Minister of Maritime Affairs.
25 million dollars have been given for port concession agreement, 25 million dollars have been received in advance for using the port, 130 million dollars port concession agreement has been signed with AD Ports Group.
A $220 million bulk cargo terminal deal has been signed with AD Ports, under which KGTL will pay 15 percent of the annual profit to Karachi Port.
