Book launch of Iranian first lady in Karachi, Asifa Bhutto also participated in the event

Karachi: The first lady of Iran, Dr. Jameela Alam El Hadi’s Urdu translation book “The Art of Life” was launched in Karachi.
The launch of the book was held at the IBA City Campus under the University of Karachi, in which former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto and current President Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter and Member of the National Assembly Asifa Bhutto Zardari specially participated, while the President of Iran, Dr. Ibrahim Raisi’s daughter Rehana Raisi was also present on this occasion.
Asifa Bhutto Zardari presented the shield to the first lady of Iran, Dr. Jameela Alam Al-Hadi, on behalf of the University of Karachi. The sign was submitted.
Speaking at the launch of the book, the Iranian first lady said that women have an important role in society and especially in Islamic civilization. Addressing the women at the event, Dr. Jamila said that it is also a pleasure to see that Pakistani women are also inclined towards Islamic hijab.
He further said that years before the Islamic revolution in Iran, Pakistan also came into being on Islamic foundations. He also invited Pakistani women for joint research in science, social science and Islamic studies.
On this occasion, while representing the vice chancellor of University of Karachi, in his address, the Chairman of Islamic Studies Dr. Zahid Ali Zahidi said that no civilization can develop without women.
Referring to a statement of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, he said that now the foundation of modern Islamic civilization must be laid in which the role of women will be important.
It should be noted that University of Karachi Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Iraqi could not participate in the said ceremony due to his participation in the ceremony of awarding honorary doctorate to Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi on behalf of University of Karachi.
