Islamabad: The Pakistan Business Forum has made various proposals in the federal budget to promote industrialization, including the abolition of minimum tax for all listed companies.
The proposals to the Finance Ministry highlighted the importance of reducing the cost of doing business in the country, expanding the agricultural sector and promoting export-led growth.
The Ministry of Finance has been advised to include concrete incentives in the federal budget. In relation to irrigation reforms, PBF has proposed to enhance irrigation systems and water management practices.
