Canadian citizen dies in Cuba, family receives body of another

Quebec: A family in Canada received the sad news of their father’s death in Cuba, but when the body was brought home, it turned out to be someone else’s body.

According to media reports, this strange incident happened in Quebec where a family found out that their father died in Cuba, but instead of receiving his body, they received the body of another person.

The father has been identified as Farajullah Jarjur. After receiving the news of his death, an appeal was made to bring the body back home and the day of the funeral was also fixed, but the surprise of the family was not over when they received the body of a Russian citizen in a coffin.

Farajullah’s daughter Maryam Jarjoor has called and sent emails to several officials to find her father’s body. Maryam told the local media that we have not received any answer yet as to where my father’s body is.

He said his 68-year-old father was in Cuba when he suffered a sudden heart attack and died. After receiving the news, he followed the instructions given by the Canadian consulate there and also paid 10,000 Canadian dollars to bring the body back home.

However, the coffin that reached them contained the body of a Russian man who was at least 20 years younger than my father. There were many tattoos on the body and head.

The daughter said that the stranger’s body has been sent back to her country, but she and her family still do not know where her father’s body is.
