Challenged by the father, the son worked day and night to add the notes

Osaka: A Japanese boy, whose father threw a 10,000 yen (Japanese currency) note into a paper shredder machine, surfed for 3 weeks to put the notes together like a jigsaw puzzle.

According to media reports, Japanese Twitter user ‘Tomo’ in his shared post told about the most difficult puzzle of his life which he surfed for 3 weeks to solve.

He said that his father accidentally put an old envelope in the paper shredder at the office but forgot that he had put a 10,000 yen note in it.

The father decided to use his mistake as a challenging project for his son.

Tomoe’s father brought home a whole basket of scraps of paper and told his son that if he managed to assemble the torn note and get a new one from the bank, the note would be his.

The boy gladly accepted this challenge. He took another new 10,000 yen note and placed it under a sheet of clear plastic so that the pieces could be folded in place on top of it.

Tomo spent days and nights completing this puzzle and finally after 3 weeks of tireless work, the note was attached.

Tomo took the note to the Bank of Japan. Although it took some time to inspect its ragged condition, the bank awarded Tomo with a new 10,000 yen.
