Chief Minister Punjab met with the hockey team, assurance of all possible cooperation

The players of the national hockey team met Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and assured her of all possible support.

Chief Minister Punjab congratulated the hockey team and the entire administration on behalf of himself, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for their excellent performance in the Azlan Shah Hockey Cup.

Talking to the players during the meeting, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that hockey is not only a national sport but also a national pride.

He said that the hockey team will get full support and ownership from the government. Sports Minister Punjab has taken very good steps in a short period of time, I will ask the sports minister to provide the necessary support to the hockey team.

Maryam Nawaz said that she has given the responsibility to Sports Minister Punjab to restore sports, she wants healthy activities for youth and students. I will give whatever budget is required for sports to the sports minister of Punjab.

The Chief Minister of Punjab said that all the players are requested to support the game of hockey to bring it to the streets. We will try to provide international level facilities, support us in rehabilitating sports with health of every player. Children want to be like athletes after watching them.

He said that I hope you will achieve more success in the future, I will definitely do whatever I can.
