Controversial refugee law passed in UK

The British House of Commons has approved a controversial bill to transfer asylum seekers to Ronda. It will become law after King Charles III’s assent. Those who came to the UK illegally will be deported to Rwanda.

According to international media reports, after the British House of Commons, the House of Commons also approved the controversial Rwanda Bill. British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak says that those who came illegally and got political asylum will be transferred to Rwanda soon.

Once approved by King Charles III, the bill will become law and all people who came to the UK illegally and are seeking asylum will be transferred to Rwanda.

The British Supreme Court declared the said bill illegal last year while human rights organizations declared it controversial and shameful.

According to the BBC, 120,000 people from Africa, Asia and the Middle East have arrived in Britain illegally since 2013.

The National Audit Office says that the transfer of three hundred people will cost six hundred and sixty five million dollars. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, says the decision to transfer refugees to Rwanda is inconsistent with human rights.
