Decision to send wheat import scam to NAB or FIA likely to be taken tomorrow, sources

A decision is likely to be taken by tomorrow whether the matter of the wheat import scam worth more than one billion dollars will be sent to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) or the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Sources said that after receiving the inquiry report related to the wheat import scam, a decision will be taken to send it to NAB or FIA.

Cabinet members and senior officials have suggested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to resolve the issue of wheat scandal in a better way.

Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif wants strict action against those responsible.

After sending the matter to NAB or FIA, the responsibles of the caretaker government will also be investigated.
