Ex-SP Clifton’s direct involvement revealed in the death of the accused in Derakhshan police station

Karachi: An important revelation has come out in the case of the alleged death of the accused in the lock-up of Derakhshan police station.

During the investigation of the incident of the death of the accused Moeez Naseem by the Derakhshan police, it has been revealed that the death of the accused Moeez did not take place in the lock-up of the Derakhshan police station.

According to police sources, Moeez Naseem was taken into custody by Derakhshan Police on the request of former SP Clifton Nairul Haq.

Police sources say that SP Nayar ul Haq took Moeez to an unknown place where Moeez was subjected to the worst torture, SP Nayar ul Haq is directly involved in the incident.

SP Nayar ul Haq has not appeared before the inquiry committee, nor has he recorded his statement.

On the other hand, SHO Derakhshan Ali Raza Laghari and Head Editor Faisal Ahmed have written a statement to the inquiry team, in the statement all the details related to the incident have been clarified.

Police sources say that since the incident, all phone numbers of SP Clifton Nayarul Haq have been blocked.

Police sources say that the initial medical report of the accused Moeez has also come out, which stated that the accused Moeez was subjected to the worst torture, there are also several check bounce cases registered against the accused Moeez in different police stations.

Police sources say that the inquiry committee will prepare its inquiry report and submit it to the higher police authorities by Thursday night.
