Former national team director Muhammad Hafeez questioned the appointment of foreign coaches for the Pakistani team.
In an interview given to a local TV channel, the former captain and team director Muhammad Hafeez, taking the management by surprise, removed me from the position, I am a qualified level one coach. Coaching courses are an education but not a complete qualification to become a coach, how can you ignore my international cricket experience.
He described the accusation of nepotism against the local coaches as unfair.

Former cricketer Mohammad Hafeez said that I am very disappointed with the statement of former PCB chairman as it is unfair to many former players. Pakistan has cricket legends who are admired all over the world, to appoint only a foreign coach, I have never seen a local coach promoting nepotism or personal recommendations.
