Hajj operation begins from Pakistan, the first flight will depart for Madinah tomorrow

Islamabad: The first flight from Pakistan for Haj 2024 will fly to Madinah tomorrow.

According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the flight operation for Hajj 2024 will continue from May 9 to June 9. The first Hajj flight from the federal capital Islamabad will depart for Saudi Arabia at midnight tomorrow.

During the first 15 days of the Hajj operation, all flights will land directly at Madinah Airport, after which most flights will land at Jeddah Airport from May 24 to June 9. On the first day of the flight operation, 2160 pilgrims will depart for Saudi Arabia through 11 flights.

680 pilgrims will leave for Saudi Arabia through 3 flights from Islamabad. 330 passengers will depart for the Holy Hijaz through 2 flights from Karachi, while 670 passengers will reach Saudi Arabia for Hajj through 3 flights from Lahore.

Similarly, 329 pilgrims will start the Hajj journey from Multan through 2 flights. 151 pilgrims will reach Madinah through one flight from Sialkot. The first Hajj flight from Quetta will depart on May 11 and the first Hajj flight from Sukkur on May 27.

More than 68,000 official Hajj pilgrims will reach Saudi Arabia through a total of 259 Hajj flights, after which the Hajj flight operation will be completed on June 9 and the first flight will return home with the pilgrims on June 20.
