Honoring ceremony for military personnel at GHQ, ISPR

A ceremony to confer military honors on military personnel was held at GHQ. Meanwhile, in his address, Army Chief General Asim Munir said that Martyrs and Ghazis are our national heroes, the freedom and security of the nation is owed to the sacrifices of its brave men.

According to the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army, ISPR, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir distributed awards to military personnel who showed bravery during operations.

In his address on this occasion, Army Chief General Asim Munir said that nothing is greater than sacrificing one’s life for the motherland.

He said that the sacrifices of the martyrs strengthen our resolve with great dedication and spirit of sacrifice.

The Army Chief said that Martyrs and Ghazis are our national heroes, the freedom and security of the nation is due to the sacrifices of its brave warriors.

General Asim Munir said that our martyrs are actually a ray of hope and perseverance for the nation.

According to ISPR, during the ceremony, the officers and jawans were awarded medals of Satara Imtiaz Military and Tagha Basalat. The martyrs’ medals were received by their families.
