How to Get Smart Card for People’s Bus Service

Significant changes are being made in the public transit system in Shahr-e-Quaid and recently the People’s Bus Service has implemented a smart card based automatic fare collection system for the convenience of citizens.

Smart card system has been introduced on May 5, 2024 by People’s Bus Service.

Under this system, all passengers will be able to pay their fares through one card.

This initiative has been taken by the Sindh government to keep the public transport network efficient, safe and running smoothly.

Currently, smart card system has been started on two main People’s Bus Service routes including Route 1 (Model Colony to Maller to Tower) and Route 9 (Gulshan Hadid to Tower) while the smart card system will be extended to more routes by 90 days. I will be

The smart card can be easily obtained by visiting the designated customer service centers located at the stops of the People’s Bus Service.

Select Jeez Cash, Easy Paisa or any bank account to pay the bus fare at customer service centers after which the smart card will be activated for use.
