‘I got a message in the audio leaks case, back off’ Justice Babar Sattar’s letter to Chief Justice Aamir Farooq

Islamabad High Court Justice Babar Sattar wrote a letter to Chief Justice Amir Farooq.

According to sources, in a letter written to Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Amir Farooq, Justice Babar Sattar has said that in the audio leaks case, I was given a message to back off.

Sources have said that Justice Babar Sattar has said in the letter that he received a message from the top official of the security establishment to withdraw, I was given a message to withdraw from the scrutiny of the surveillance system.

In the letter, Justice Babar Sattar has said that I did not pay any attention to such threatening tactics.

Justice Babar Sattar has said in the letter that the focus of malicious campaign on PTA-related cases seems to be an intimidation tactic to influence judicial proceedings.

In a letter written to Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Amir Farooq, Justice Babar Sattar has said that notices were also issued to the concerned ministries, regulatory bodies, ISI, IB, FIA, PTA and PEMRA.
