ICC delegation satisfied with Champions Trophy 2025 arrangements

The ICC delegation, which came to review the arrangements for the Champions Trophy 2025, met Chairman PCB and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.

Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy in February next year. In this regard, the delegation of International Cricket Council (ICC) event operations visited Pakistan and reviewed the arrangements by inspecting three stadiums National Stadium Karachi, Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Pindi Cricket Stadium Rawalpindi. The team also inspected the hotels and facilities provided in the said cities and also saw the security arrangements.

After the stadium tour, the delegation headed by Chris Tetley, Head of ICC Event Operations Team, including Sara Egard and Aoun Zaidi, met Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi yesterday and shared their views on PCB’s arrangements for the Champions Trophy. Expressed satisfaction. PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer, Director of International Cricket Usman Wahla and other officials were also present on this occasion.

During the meeting, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said that as big a tournament as the Champions Trophy is, arrangements will be made accordingly and foolproof arrangements will be made for it at all levels.

He said that the upgradation work of the stadiums will be completed before the Champions Trophy and all other necessary matters will also be completed on time. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi reiterated PCB’s determination to successfully host the Champions Trophy in Pakistan.
