Brussels: After the United States and the United Nations, the European Union, another ally of Israel, has also warned against a major military operation in Rafah, saying it would increase the number of civilian casualties.
According to the World News Agency, the head of the European Union’s foreign policy, Josep Borrell, has warned that if Israel does not stop its military operations in Rafah, it may damage the relations of the European Union with Israel.
The Israeli military operation in Rafah is hampering the distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza and will increase internal displacement, famine and suffering, the statement added.
It should be remembered that Israel has ordered more than one million Palestinians who took refuge in Rafah to migrate to other areas because it will conduct a major military operation here.
On which the United States and allied countries also urged Israel to refrain from this process. The number of Palestinians martyred in the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7 has reached close to 35,000.
